We’ve got some big stuff for you in this release! We’re ready with our first desktop version, we’ve been updating with gestures in the app, and then there’s our lovely new Files section (who knew we could get so excited about a File library?). So, here are the details:

Use Heynabo! with a browser

We thought people loved apps, but it turns out a surprisingly large amount of you prefer to access your spaces through a browser. Log in by visiting https://[your space-id].spaces.heynabo.com/

New file library

The file library is one of the most used sections of Heynabo!

It is also the most boring. So we decided to give it a complete overhaul. Here are the main improvements:

• Categories: Folders can now be placed in categories. This will help you keep things nice and tidy, and makes it easier to find the right files (in effect this is sub folders).
• View rights (for folders): Quickly adjust who can see what.
• Text versions: Since it sucks reading an A4 PDF on your mobile. We added a WYSIWYG editor, so you can insert text versions of your files.
• Really nice visuals.

Swipe away

It’s 2022 and nobody has the time to reach for that back button, am I right? So from now on, just swipe left, right, up or down to navigate back, expand, or collapse elements.

Badge for admins

A lot of “regular” users have asked for a clearer distinction of who is a neighbour, and who is an administrator. So we’ve added a little badge next to admin’s name. Is this enough, or should we make it more flashy. Let Marie know on [email protected]
